Enrique Omar Sívori was born in San Nicolás, Argentina on Oct. 2, 1935. As an excellent forward of Argentina, he was widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of his generation. When he was young, he started play football on street near his home with barefoot. In Omar Sivori’s hometown, he mastered sophisticated technique, turning to be fearless young professional footballer.
For fabulous technique, hard work, dynamic energy and outstanding performances on football fields, he was sought after among world-class football clubs, including Juventus, River Plate and Napoli. In 1957, he accomplished his first appearance at a major competition in Argentina football shirt (new), playing an important role at this year’s Copa América. After ended his playing career, he began his coach career, aiming at helping his team reaching a higher level at international competitions. The audacious and brilliant professional football were famous for his sophisticated techniques – speed, dribbling, feints, precise passing and dynamic energy.
